Start with the wall, not only the logo
Stone, timber, plasterboard and feature panels accept different fixings. Stand-off depth and anchor design should be decided before studs are welded.
Mock-up and production drawing serve different jobs
A mock-up helps select appearance. The production drawing must state dimensions, material, finish and fixing positions.
Close-up QC is necessary
Reception signs are viewed at short distance, so grain direction, weld marks and edge finish should be documented.
