When brass is the right material for a custom sign
Brass is chosen primarily for visual warmth, weight and traditional premium character. Its surface behaviour must be part of the design decision.

Why brass changes appearance
Copper-rich alloys react with moisture, pollutants, salt and cleaning products. Surface change is a material characteristic, not automatically a defect.
Use finish samples carefully
Screen images are affected by lighting and white balance. Where colour matters, a controlled physical reference is more reliable.
Quote brass by specification
Alloy, thickness, finish, graphic process, edge treatment and protective coating should be explicit.

- Indoor, normal outdoor, coastal, pool-side or other exposure
