How to source custom signs from China without relying on the lowest quote
The difficult part is not finding a factory. It is making different factories quote the same product, selecting the capability that fits the process, and catching problems before freight is committed.

Supplier discovery is only the first filter
Business registration, factory evidence, process equipment, export capability and product history help establish whether a supplier can plausibly perform the work. The sample or first article then tests the actual execution.
Control the evidence chain
Approved drawings, finish references, dated QC photos, measurements and packing records create a more useful audit trail than chat messages stating that production is complete.
Build a supplier memory
After each order, store real price, lead time, on-time performance, defect outcome and responsiveness. Future routing should improve from transaction history rather than restarting from public search.

- Approximate dimensions or a scale drawing
- Quantity and whether this is a one-off or repeat programme
- Indoor, normal outdoor, coastal, pool-side or other exposure
- Logo, artwork, PDF, photograph or reference drawing where available
- Delivery country and postcode so the landed route can be evaluated
